    Ten Standards

The Code comprises 10 Standards associated with providing professional, person-centred housing-related support services.

Organisations must produce evidence that they have in place, a range of appropriate policies and procedures, as well as demonstrating that these are put into practice, relating to the following:

    1. Service Review, Delivery and Continuous Improvement
    2. Policy and Legislation
    3. Access, Equality and Diversity
    4. Rights and Responsibilities
    5. Confidentiality, Privacy and Information Sharing
    6. Independence and Empowerment
    7. Professional Roles and Responsibilities
    8. Collaboration and Community Development
    9. Staff Recruitment, Training and Support
    10. Physical Environment

Regardless of size, structure or client group, the Code is designed to enable any organisation to demonstrate to stakeholders that its housing-related support services are of the highest quality, person-centred and delivered consistently.
